Training Workshop Overview

Can we all remember a time we met someone we thought was a really engaging public speaker or presenter?  Was it something about:

• their voice?
• the clarity of their message?
• their confidence?
• the way they stood?
• or was it a combination of all these?

This intensive, interactive 2-day training course will enable delegates to deliver presentations more effectively and successfully like those they admire. The programme is ideal for those who already have some experience of presenting or public speaking and now want to work on their presentation delivery skills.  During the workshop, delegates will refine and rehearse a short (20 minute) presentation on a topic of their choice, which they can prepare beforehand or bring along an existing presentation they would like to improve.

• Have developed a more confident and persuasive vocal style

• Have learned how to use powerful interactive techniques to control your audience

Training Workshop Outline

• Analysing effective and ineffective presentations
• Identifying personal barriers
• Understanding the differences between conversations and presentations
• Engaging the audience
• Using visuals effectively
• Employing rhetoric and literary device to maximum effect
• Enhancing personal impact
• Appreciating the importance and use of non-verbal communication

Learning Methods

A variety of different individual and group exercises (voice, physical presence, body language etc), tutor input and discussions will offer all delegates the opportunity to explore their present thinking and style in order to enhance their impact.
