This LEADWomen training course will help you understand and practice the behavioural skills to manage your sources of stress - both those created within yourself and by outside forces.
You will learn how to deal assertively with conflict and problem situations and you will be trained to make clear, assertive interventions to minimize conflict situations. At the same time, you will become better equipped to manage your workload and the stresses and strains that naturally come with the responsibility of managing others.
The course will highlight:
- The causes of stress and ways to avoid it
- The psychology of assertiveness – dealing with reluctance to challenge poor behaviour and performance
- Maintaining personal health and well-being when facing difficult people and situations
- Identifying and learning to deal with ‘The Games People Play’ to avoid conflict and stress
- Optimising your time and activity management
- Giving feedback to help minimize potential conflict and turn-around poor performance
- Using powerful language to assert yourself
