LEADWomen Launches Arabic Language Training Programmes
Following Regional Expansion in the Middle East

LEADWomen are continuing their regional expansion due to increasing regional demand.

Dubai, UAE: Following their regional expansion, LEADWomen will now be conduction a selection of programmes to further develop the regions female workforce, and prepare them for the leadership challenges of tomorrow.

LEADWomen is the region’s first leadership and professional development consultancy catering to the needs of the Middle East and Africa’s female workforce, and was developed to provide strategic and insightful training for women in the workplace, after recognising the setbacks many women face in their careers. By offering an educational and self-development network run by women, for women, LEADWomen hopes to inspire women to lead through the training they receive.

The decision to offer Arabic-language training courses came after research undertaken by LEADWomen revealed that 75% of the women polled stated they suffered from “severe dissatisfaction” with their career prospects. The study by LEADWomen also showed that of the women profiled, a 60% stated that language barriers prevented them from achieving their professional development goals.

To overcome these setbacks and ensure the GCCs workforce realises its potential, LEADWomen will be launching 3 of its popular and in-demand training courses in Arabic, delivered by the regions most prominent training professionals. The courses will include “Introduction to Business Etiquette for Women”, “The Fundamentals of Business for Women” and “Emotional Intelligence in Public Relations”.

Commenting on the release of the preliminary findings, Sophie Said, Business Development Director noted that:

“The recent research LEADWomen has undertaken has revealed a massive shift between the concept of the female workforce in the Middle East, and the reality of being a working women.

There is a real need for training courses aimed at women in the Arabic language, which reflect their professional development needs.

We are ecstatic to be leading that shift in not just the Middle East, but globally with the support of some of the regions biggest names.”

The demand for female-centric training comes amidst a renewed interest in empowering the regions female workforce, and recognising the difficulties women face in professional environments. With the UAE and Saudi Arabia leading these issues, businesses and organisations have become more aware of the need for investment in professional development programmes.
